"not. fancy accommodation because it’s pet friendly. place was spotless, odor free, quiet, easy self parking with a huge glassed in balcony with an incredible view. large community room with kitchen, utensils etc which would make for a terrific family reunion space, or large gathering area. about 8 other rooms. we will DEFINITELY be back and refer our friends! "

"The location of this motel is absolutely perfect. You are in walking distance to the diner and the downtown area. The rooms were very clean and a nice size. The staff was so nice and very helpful whenever we had a question or needed their assistance. There is a large indoor pool that we used and was very clean and actually unexpected. If ever in the area again I would stay here without question."

"Never been to Wellsboro but found it to be a wonderful town - and this hotel is right in the middle of it. If you like Old School this is it; the hotel has a history. Rooms are small - and well-maintained - but old. It was built when people were shorter (we aren't tall - 5-8 and 5-2) but had to reach down for the sink. At first glance, the shower looked like it might not be all that great but pressure was excellent; one of the better hotel showers we've had and we travel quite a bit. Speaking of which, the front desk clerk - Dave - may be the friendliest most well-informed desk clerk ever. Gave us great information on the area and restaurant recommendations. It was only a one-night stay to see the Grand Canyon of PA but we plan to return!"
