"A great 13th Century property, welcoming staff very much appreciated after a 7 hour drive, lovely old dining room, lovely food, great walk out through farmlands to the rear of the Hotel down to the
beach, a little strange for an Australian to be greeted by so many dogs in the Bar, but they added to the ambience!!"

beach. rooms are dated. and although room i had was
sea view it is only if you stand up and look over roof of building in front. but was nice to hear the
sea through the night. warning there is no mobile signal at all here. just hotel wifi which was ok most of the time."

" Bijou but perfectly formed and very comfortable. We mentioned the curtain rail was coming away from the wall and they were on it.
The food and service was fantastic. We ate in the pub next door both nights and were very pleased with the standard of the food. The only critique was the meat pie, although tender and full of meat, it was very dry as though under a heat lamp for a while.
The staff were super helpful and friendly.
It is slightly more pricey than some hotels but the view and position contribute to this. A quality small hotel and would go again."
