“We loved the hotel and where it was situated, our room was nice and clean but views was sadly lacking, bar and staff very good but I felt the outside has the potential of being better , nothing seriously wrong but a little more effort and it’ll be lovely . We would definitely come back”

“Unbelievably bad experience, upon arrival to rooms as I had booked three, room one on second floor stunk of cigarettes, room two on 1st floor sink tap turned on but no water, bed uncomfortable, squeaked, unstable awful room three also on first floor…… broken chair in room, stained lamp shade next to bed, desk lamp had excessive wiring wrapped around lamp then plugged to socket which is dangerous. Two hand prints on wall above a stain in the carpet, toilet wouldn’t flush properly, shower in bath...

“Mark and Rich were amazing hosts. Excellent restaurant suggestions. Our room was in the basement at the back and it was cool and quiet. Very clean and the common area where breakfast was served and the area where you could sit and look out at the water was way bigger than we expected. Breakfast was extra and well worth it. Great berries and yogurt, cereal and fresh baked biscuits were a highlight. They even accommodated a relative for breakfast who wasn’t staying at the first house. Should...
