“Value for money”

“This would have been an all over 'excellent' save for one issue immediately resolved by staff. The window catches in the ground floor room I was given which overlooked the garden could not be shut and locked to secure the room from the outside. As soon as I reported this, however, I was immediately offered another secure equally good room so it was resolved - the cleaning staff must have known but had not alerted management who were unaware till I drew it to its attention. That literally was...

“As previously it was all to a very good standard”

“The family room was on the 3rd floor with two windows which were in poor condition. Only one was safe to open. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant where we had dinner one evening. Staff were always very helpful and polite.”

“Clean room”

“Staff polite and efficient. The room clean and tidy. Breakfast was as advertised. Lovely decorative pieces throughout communal areas and stairwells. Only let down points were tv aerial was broken so couldn’t watch anything and the shower leaked during use- but was lovely pressure and nice hot water.”

“I does exactly what it says. Clean and functional.”
