This pier makes for great sunrise photos. $2 to walk out onto it but totally worth it. Lots of avid fishermen to entertain you AND they sell beer and other beverages to carry out there with you. The Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach is a great area to visit with numerous excellent breweries and many great restaurants.

"Had a great time! Amazing location for the price, we really enjoyed South End with Sundays coffee shop being right there and a direct access to the beach as well. The rooms seem dated but are VERY clean and have good appliances. The staff are friendly as well. "
