"Lovely little inn in very quiet location (though easy to get to Halifax). Room was great size, good facilities, bed was comfy! We had a nice view of a sheep field. "Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear and when it did it was disappointing to say the least, and not worth the money such a shame ! We then came back for Sunday lunch ,the food was nice but service took a long time, we were not asked if we would like any condiments or if we needed anything else..we had to ask for the dessert menu..benefit of the doubt they were short staffed but.............! None of this would actually stop us booking again, but wouldn't bother with breakfast or Sunday lunch!"

"We had a very comfortable one night stay. Friendly welcome and bed/bedding very comfy. The only negative I would say is that even though you expect a very old/traditional style of accommodation, the bathroom really needs replacing and updating. It was very tatty looking, toilet seat doesn’t stay up, nowhere to put toiletries whilst in the shower and generally very tired looking. I feel for the cost of the room, this should be much better. Location of the pub though is perfect. Drinks are dearer than anywhere up the Main Street. We still enjoyed our stay 😊"

"We spent 2 nights at the Old Registtry which is perfectly situated on the Main Street of Haworth and a great location for exploring the area. We stayed in the Tudor room. The photos make it slightly more glamorous than it is but nonetheless, a clean, good sized room. Due to the age of the building, everything is a little creaky. Tea and coffee facilities provided including decaffeinated option. TV in the room but unable to log into Netflix or Amazon due to buffering so you are limited to terrestrial channels. The room was on the same side as the main road but wasn’t too noisy. We had breakfast which was good however only one member of staff taking orders and serving. This didn’t delay breakfast coming out but did mean several tables were left with dirty plates on throughout our meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but we did attempt to have a drink in the bar. Unfortunately, although the bar is stocked, they don’t have a license so we were unable to purchase alcohol. The staff were very kind to direct us to alternative venues but the weather was horrendous. We’re not big drinkers so we didn’t mind. The staff offered us tea and coffee which we accepted and spent a pleasant evening in the bar area playing board games. One thing is there’s no parking outside so you’ll need to find off street or paid parking nearby. All together a decent stay and I’m sure once they get the bar up and running, this will improve the venue."

"The room was dated and had scuff marks on the doors and furniture and the carpet had seen better days BUT it was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. It is going through refurbishment at the moment and to be honest I expected a bit of a mess and noise but it was quiet. My partner used the leisure area and was happy with it."
