We had a nice stay at Hana Mana cottage. It's very clean with a big kitchen. Unfortunately we didn't prepare to cook and we didn't manage to rent a car. We didnt buy any foods for dinner and the owner kindly provided ramen, fruits and fresh eggs : ) to us
The mattress is very cozy and we had a sound sleep. The garden is nicely managed and we very much like to stay in the same place if we revisit Yokushima!

Friendly staff and excellent service. Very nice property with spacious villas. Restaurant catered to our vegan diet. Good location from where to explore the island. Will return and highly recommend.

Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. Self serve laundry was a huge plus.
Breakfast buffet had a little of options and was well stocked. We enjoyed our two nights here and would return to the same hotel if ever back in Yakushima.

Ingredients and contents for Dinner and Breakfast are considered overprice.
There is no lift access which is Inconvenient. Staff did not offer to send the luggage to the room.

The food at the restaurant is not that great and costly. The onsen ( outdoor and indoor) and large swimming pool are great and beautiful. Thanks to the very nice Japanese lady that speak english with an Australian accent, she was very helpful - too bad she is only working in the restaurant and not at the front desk! If you plays a game of pool, the manager will rudely stop your game if your game is lasting a little more than the money and time you paid (2,000 yen per hour). Very rude, unprofessional and cheap. The lounge/ bar listed under Expedia for this hotel doesn’t exist! Ocean and forest views are amazing. A local bus is located in front of the hotel.
