"For a single person staying the room was large enough but for a couple it will be tighter. The lighting was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and everything worked well at all times. The hotel itself has a brilliant location and gorgeous, full of jarrah and exquisite ceiling s. I didn't eat there but it served my purpose very well"

"Room was clean but showed lots of wear. Worn out and holes in the carpet. The biggest complaint was finding the window to the room which overlooks an alley was stuck open and the crank didn't work, additionally the window did not have a screen. Staff was able to come and fix the window. The water smelled incredibly sulfurous. Overall found it acceptable for the price and location."

"Location is great, in free tram zone and good for solo traveller. A lot of reviews mentioned about lift problem which almost caused me cancel my booking but I don't feel any hassle regarding with lifts at all. You can totally skip the hotel breakfast since it's very basic and Melbourne offers so many great cafe which most of them opens at 7pm. I don't mind staying here again for my next visit."
