room was clean and staff was friendly. Stayed here 3 nights, didnt think they would do the room service but everyday when i got back to the room, the beds were done and we had fresh towels. I travel to town once a month for 3 nights, will def stay here from now on.

The property was nice and so was the staff. I was very pleased. I have stayed at another hotel near by and was very disappointed. I appreciate the service I got at econo lodge.

Never stay at Econolodge!
First off let me say the clerk at the front desk, was very nice, and helpful. The rooms were very nasty looking, the carpet reeked of strong mildew, I was afraid to touch anything! Then why I complained about the room, the manager asked me to leave the hotel! I couldn't believe it! I saw no need to argue to stay in this fleabag motel, so I left! I was glad I had family there to help me find another hotel, please don't stay at the econolodge!! There were some strange looking characters standing around the entrance, I think this location is for the locals only, definitely not out of town guests!!

we are very sorry you did not like the room but when asked you could not say what was wrong and when we went to room with you you said it was nice other then the scratches on the floor but when they move the beds to clean under them they scratch the floor

The room was not well cleaned. The toilet had a broken lid that did not fit on the back...... It was not particularly pleasant.

Worst night for a hotel stay EVER!!!!
It was the worst stay at a hotel I have ever ever had!!!! So I came to get my card and I walk in and there is a young male standing at the front desk (not an employee) he said very very very dirty things to me the employee actually laughed at one! I felt so embarrassed and disrespected. Well his girl came as me and my son was talking about it and I was so mad. When he found out he was really mad. The lady overheard we did not know that was his girl! So that started drama and they screamed and hollared alll night long! Then the next morning I come down the stairs to leave to go to town and he legit is following me out the door yelling and cussing me out saying I started things between him and his girl! I did not! And I told him I didn’t! He proceeded to follow me and when I straight ignored him he told me he had a pistola on him at all times and he was gonna kill me and my family!! It was horrible I’ll never be back. NEVER!!!!! They shouldn’t let ppl that think their god come on and do that to their customers needless to say I made a few reviews with a lot of ppl about my stay! I would very much so like my money back!!!!

Upset Customer
The stay was okay, the only problem I had was with Hotel.com they did not pay the amount that was quoted me that I paid them. I had to call Hotels.com customer service and wait 45 minutes until they called the hotel and pay the additional money that was owed before I was able to get my room. After traveling 900 miles that was unacceptable.

Pure insanity
The front desk clerk couldn’t check me in. He said payment declined but I had already paid online through the website. I called Hotels customer service to inquire and customer service said it’s because they paid thru Hotels.com. I waited back and forth for 45 mins. I finally suggested I just pay cash and hotels.com refund me. My whole point of booking through hotels.com is to avoid the long drawn out check in process, my night was ruined. Also the hotel wasn’t very clean

I stayed here for 3days,The staff didn't clean up my room as expected.i requested clean linen&they failed to do so. They don't speak English very well so translation is a must..I would recommend if your only staying for a night and need a place to sleep only. I don't recommend if you are looking for entertainment or if u have children as they will be bored.....the online price is better then walk up price,which also allows you to book now and pay later.when you get to the hotel,u can change your method of payment.

Not the greatest!
The bathtub had cigarette burns all down the side. The furniture was stained and ashes/dirt behind bedside table. Room felt dirty.

do not stay here
The shower did not work and the room was dirty looking. It could use a coat of paint. My bed had a rip in the side of the mattress and the sheets had stains on them. There was something in our toilet when we first arrived, which made me wonder when it was last cleaned.The pool was closed and our room coffee was a joke. One packet of coffee and no cream or sugar or decaf option. I will not stay there again. Great for folks who are passing through.

Nice, comfortable, delicious continental breakfast
I really enjoyed my brief stay. The room itself was clean and comfortable. My favorite part of the stay was the free continental breakfast that included delicious self-serve homemade waffles. The staff was friendly. Customer was great. However, the room could use a new coat of paint and a little speckling here and there.

My room was pretty good, it just needed more than 1 overhead light in the bathroom.. I hate dim lighting especially in the bathtub area!! For safety purposes I prefer to see while getting in an out of the shower. Overall it was a good stay!! Thumbs up for giving me a room close to the front desk!! While traveling alone that was very important to me, I felt safe!!

Pleasant stay, never any problems checking in with reservations, courteous staff.
Pleasant stay, never any problems checking in with reservations, courteous staff always willing to accommodate any requests I may ask of them. Rooms are always very clean, nice quiet rooms. Use them every month when I go to visit yahoo city.

Nice family get away
The hotel was pretty good for the low price we payed. WE really couldn't have expected more. We liked that they had a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. They also had continental breakfast.

very pleasant stay.
This has been my second time staying at the Econo Lodge in Yazoo City. Both stays have been pleasant. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great amenities. Will definetly stay again.

Not at all pet friendly
I was informed at check In that they are not a Pet Friendly Hotel, The hotel management was kind enough to allow my dog to stay out of necessity, but I was so concerned about disturbing anyone, that I did not get much rest. I was worried that all the noise I could here from the room next to me would cause my dog to bark. My dog usually has no problem when I stay at hotels. I will call hotel for now on to confirm that it is a pet friendly hotel.

Just Okay
Not too good but not bad. Hotel service and amenities at the bare minimum. A/C was off on arrival so the room was damp and sticky but clean. Had to ask for coffee pot. They did bring it to the room fairly quickly. Side door to parking lot with card reader would not close so no real security. Would stay again in a pinch.

Quick Trip
Stayed one day overnight..Hotel was peaceful and breakfast area had a kitchen with waffle maker, coffee, cereals, and drinks. Reasonable for a one night stay!

no boarding passes
the hotel, with a computer but no printer, refused to print boarding passes. They said the owner refused to provide that service. The bathroom was dirty and the bedspread looked like it had a stain over most of it. Breakfast was terrible and the coffee actually worse.

Not Impressed
I reserved a non smoking room but the room I was given smelled heavily of smoke. The manager did however came and sprayed the room with some type of citrus spray, (which only lasted for a couple of hours). We were not allowed to take any of the food to our rooms. We had to sit in the breakfast area and eat. On the day of checkout I went across the street to gas up when I returned the manager had kicked the kids out of the room at 10:30 am checkout time was not until 11:00 am. They stated that checkout was at 10:00 not 11:00.

Econo lodge Yazoo City
This is a pretty good hotel for the price. Cheapest price i could find in town. I took a trip to hunt in Panther swamp NWR and the hotel was a pretty close distance. I would recommend this to any hunters looking for a place to lay their head while their not hunting that big buck.
