"The Citadines Harbor Front was a terrific place to stay and a bargain for the price. It is a well-run four star hotel. There are lots of reasons we would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Yokohama. The location puts you right in the middle of the museums, scenic waterfront strolls and restaurants a tourist will want to see. Everything is within walking distance: the waterfront park, the red brick warehouse, the silk and cup of noodles museums, and Chinatown. The Hikawa Maru, a magnificent 1930’s luxury cruise ship, is a 10 minute walk. The self-guided tour, which cost less than $3 a person, was wonderful. The Citadines staff was wonderful, the hotel was quiet, and the queen size bed (not always easy to find in East Asia) was great. A very nice touch was the lounge. It is open to all customers and has 24 hour coffee, water, and is quiet with comfortable seats. My experience is that this type of lounge is typically available only to customers staying in high level rooms or those with upper level memberships. At our departure we asked the staff to call a cab for us. Not only did they get us a cab in five minutes, they walked us to it so they could see us off properly. Nice touch!"
