Great spot for a getaway, the location is perfect and the room is very clean, neat and tidy with everything needed, had a spa in the room which was a bonus and the bed was extremely comfortable, will definitely stay here again.

Settlers house in York was a great place to stay and so convenient to all the attractions. It was economical, very clean and comfortable. Live music all weekend created a lovely ambience. The staff were great and couldn't do enough for us.

This is country town accommodation. It is clean and comfortable and a good standard. York is a beautiful Western Australian historic town, neat, tidy, a safe environment with very friendly people, about 100km from Perth. Very relaxed.

The town of York is lovely. The visitors center has so much great information. Now to the Settlers Cottage, the carpet was disgraceful and filthy. Bugs in the room, no drinking water, no hairdryer, only luke warm water for shower, musty smell. The place has so much potential, but not taken care of. We booked a deluxe twin room, nothing deluxe about it!I trying to be very honest so that the next person isn’t as upset as we were. We had a prepaid evening check in, so felt that we had no choice but to stay.

Website said check in time was 2pm but when we arrived, we were told check in was 3pm, was a bit annoying, waited in car for an hour as it was raining and we couldn’t go for a walk around town. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
