Comfy bed and clean room. Food was good. The hotel is just 8 minutes walk from the Minster and shopping areas. We found the hotel a bit gloomy and dark, but appreciate that it's in keeping with the Churchill theme.

We loved our stay at the Churchill. It’s in a great location, about a 10 minute walk from York centre. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The food in the bar was great-big portions too. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Overall this hotel is wonderful and we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for one night in the Admiralty Suite, wish we had booked for longer. Our room was comfortable, clean and stylish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location and an easy walk into the main area of York.
