“Friendly front of house staff. Location on a main road, so didn't have bathroom window open. Very convenient, would happily use again.”

“Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again”Josie

“Good accommodation in a great location for our needs. Shower and kitchen a bit small but ok for a short stay. Our host was an unusual character. Hard to get hold of before arrival and then seemingly uncomfortable with dogs? I had selected dog friendly accommodation only but there was no place to confirm dogs in attendance.
We were contacted whilst out to say the dog was distressed. Although this was later downgraded. We we contacted or called on each day of our stay (?) which got a...Colin

“Enjoyed the inexpensive rate and proximity to bus! Cleanliness wasn’t the best in the room, but for the rate can’t complain. There were a few pieces of hair on my bed sheets which didn’t leave the best impression, but moved on. Shared bathroom was fine and always empty which was nice!
Walls are quite thin so I could hear the guy next to me snoring. And some people were quite ignorant and loud at night, but not the hostels fault! Overall decent stay for a budget trip!”

“Father and son stopover after two days of hiking during a long drive home. The Wellington Hotel was exactly what we needed — easy check‑in, no fuss, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers, and a genuinely tasty breakfast that set us up for the rest of the journey. Simple, welcoming, and spot‑on. Highly recommended.”Marcus

“아침식사 정말 따끈하고 맛있고, 방과 욕실 청결도도 매우 좋습니다.
3층방 이었는데 하늘이 보이는 다락방같이 안락했습니다. 요크에 다시 가면 꼭 다시 묶고 싶습니다.”

“Property lovely, high standard interior.
Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly.
Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off.
We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...Jamie
