"The shining stars of this resort was the room and the staff. Location is not the best, BUT i stayed on resort most of the time so very much got to experience what was available on-site. Plenty to do, but not so much that it felt overwhelming or too busy. It was amazingly relaxing!!! Highly recommend staying on the 26th floor as my room was jaw-dropping. Water was beautiful, beaches were nice. Pools were clean. Buffet was awesome ( I did not bother with the other restaurants because of the wait). Room service was nice. No poolside bar, which made me sad. Couple of things to note-- TIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ALL-INCLUSIVE. Please tip in either USD or Pesos (both were suggested when I asked about preference) to the employees. I saw so many people not tipping, and even though staff was great.Made me sad because the staff is amazing. Another thing: The hotel is likely being bought-out by Marriott, which will totally change the vibe. It was already negatively impacting the staff-- my last day, I had zero percent of the staff that I had come to know because of their weird staffing changes. I like going to a resort and enjoying the same staff day in/out. It makes the experience feel more like home."
