"This is a beautiful property located just outside of the town of Yufuin. The service was great and the food was wonderful. We enjoyed soaking in the outdoor spa while viewing the scenery around us. The hotel shuttle from the train station was not very convenient with only one small bus per hour and reservations required in advance. We opted to take a taxi which was under US$10 and very easy. We stayed two nights and spent much of the middle day walking around the town. Highly recommend."

"The service was excellent! There were several private hot spring baths available. Breakfast was good, but the grilled pork set meal for dinner was even better! Bicycles were also available for rent to ride to Lake Kinrin."

"Comfortable guest house run by a sweet lady. Very homelike feel and a huge breakfast! A plus for me was the cat, Assi. She is very comfortable around strangers and likes to meow at your door for a visit. She does go to her own room at 9pm, so won't disturb your sleep. "
