Sunny and the other staff were so wonderful, they helped with laundry, directions around town, taxis and so on. The rooms are large and comfortable, the upstairs terrace is lovely; all the American and Japanese toys from the last fifty years on display are fascinating; roomy, clean kitchen with pleasant, quiet and restful common room area

Charming ryokan

A little off the beaten path in Yufuin, this little ryokan is charming and has a wonderful staff but feels a little dated and might not offer the amenities of more modern places. However, the value is great, the rooms surprisingly spacious and the onsen (with outdoors and indoors options) small but very enjoyable.

I love that this hotel was completely different than what I expected. Upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised by the bed & breakfast style of the hotel and the nostalgic memorabilia displayed throughout the hotel as well. The staff was very informative and accommodating to my needs while speaking english. I felt right at home. The free hot chocolate was delicious which I sipped graciously in the living room after a hot soak in the private onsen. I had such a relaxing experience. I am looking forward to visiting Yufuin again and returning to this hotel!

Generally, we did not like our experience at this hotel. Bad value for money. When I booked, the website said that the onsen could be used for an additional charge of 300 yens per person. We did not plan on using it but they now make everyone pay a flat fee of 250 yens per person, whether you use it or not. The room is spacious but not comfortable - bed, pillow, cleanliness... The staff was friendly and helpful and the parking was free. On a side note - and I don't take this into account in my rating of this hotel: Yufuin seems like a total tourist trap - we would have skipped it on our road trip if we had known.

I absolutely loved staying here! The onsen was perfect after a day of driving. The style of the hotel is really cool, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Motorbike parking was available and the room was comfy and warm. It's a short walk into town, but nothing too difficult.

This is a new type of a Japanese "Ryokan", mostly self-services. Quiet area and much cheaper than other typical "Ryokan" in the town. Yet, I enjoyed one of the private-room onsen.

만족합니다. 좋아요~

만족합니다~ 후기에서 냄새난다고해서 걱정했는데 냄새도 안 나서 다행이었어요. 객실도 넓고 깔끔하고 좋았어요~ 하지만 노천탕의 이용시간이 너무 짧아요! 다른건 다 만족합니다~ 실내탕도 이용시간이 너무 짧아서 탕을 얼마 사용 못했습니다. 탕이 3개 있는데 다 사용해보지 못했어요. 온천의 이용시간을 높여주면 진짜 좋아요!!! 아참 그리고 온천물이 정말 좋아요! 씻고 나오면 몸이 뽀득뽀득 너무 부드러워요~~~ 어디 가게 놀러갔는데 애기가 제 다리가 부드럽다고 계속 한 30분동안 만지더라구요. 그리고 위치도 좋아요~ 이용객이 다 한국인이예요 .

睇落間旅館有點古舊，但其實裡面非常乾淨，職員非常友善，晚上可以泡戶外溫泉，早上只有室內供應，溫泉係私人享用，每次限時30分鐘，有地方給煮食，有單車供應，步行去車站需要20-25分鐘，步行去金鱗湖需要15分鐘，附近有間Aeon超市，非常方便
