"A smaller hotel but with provided a great experience. The staff were outstanding from reception to the bar. The rooms were very cool (we had a family room) and large, clean and very well appointed. The restaurant always looked good with many options enough to satisfy kids too. The kids also loved the pool & table tennis games room. The Dive centre in the hotel was also excellent and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It all worked well. Just over an hour from the airport but plenty stuff...

"The property is about 1hr 30mins from Zanzibar town, however is spacious and great place to relax. They have a private beach and the water is turquoise and white sand. Staff are multilingual and very professional and friendly. Alex, Abdul, Nasri and the whole team made our stay worthwhile and the all inclusive choice make the difference. "Maru Maru Hotel staff were very kind and willing to help. The location of this hotel is beyond convenient; a great location if you decide the stone town tour and prison island tour. I absolutely love that you can turn on heat for your water. I only have positive things to say about my stay here. The restaurant on the rooftop was also amazing; a great selection of food and cocktails. The venue itself was gorgeous- it has a very safe and reassuring feeling."
