“The hotel was lovely, staff were always very friendly with a smile. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Food was excellent, with a good choice of vegetarian food at the main buffet. It was a shame the pool bar food lacked vegetarian selection as did the Al a carte restaurants. Pool staff and entertainment team were great, there was no pressure to join activities if you didn’t want to. Thoroughly enjoyed our time.”

“Our inbound transportation wasn’t there due to misunderstanding on the hotel part even though we had called and exchanged few emails but they found a quick solution for us and it went very smoothly. I would suggest to add some snacks (cookies, cakes, crisps, chocolate bars, etc .) at the bar and not only drinks to make it more convenient.”

“The Emerson Spice Hotel is a little gem in the heart of Stone Town. Russell and the team are so welcoming and kind, especially to my son, who was amazed that we were staying in such a nice property, a former spice warehouse. They gave useful tips and advice on tours, arranged them for us so that we were able to see everything in the area from the history of where we were, to the Jozani forest and surrounding areas, as well as the spice farms nearby. “Hôtel magnifique, autant niveau décoration que la qualité des infrastructures (piscines, restaurants…), la plage etc. Les chambres standards sont relativement spacieuses. Le personnel est très sympa mais parfois un peu lent dans le service. Le kids club n’est pas vraiment opérationnel, c’est dommage. ”
