โI reserved it for the price. But I would stay every time I go because the name describes it to a T. It is very clean (my specific thanks to the cleaning lady who works her tail off). It is quiet. And it is comfortable. Great communication whenever needed with the managers!โ
โI thought the overall experience was great! Itโs slightly older but still very clean. The staff were great and helpful. I couldnโt expect anything better from a motel! Definitely recommend!โ
โThe Courtyard strikes you as new, and the underground parking is a welcome amenity. My room impressed me with its eight sets of lights, a good indicator of its thoughtful design. It featured two comfortable queen beds and a useful sitting area with a pullout couch. Having two Samsung TVs and reliable internet speeds for streaming Netflix was also a bonus. Considering the room rate, I felt I got great value, even if I wished for complimentary breakfast and parking.โ
โWe like the convenience of being right off of I-5 and close to Northgate Mall. we would prefer indoor corridors, but the outdoors ones are acceptable.โ
โWe have stayed at a couple of the ownerโs properties in Seattle and this was our favorite. Great quiet, walkable neighborhood with ample parking. Close to amenities within city. Beds are very comfortable - You could sleep for days. โ
โawesome two room bottom floor, comfy beds! very clean and organized. you have primary parking at the house just in case you donโt feel comfortable parking in the street. everything is short driving distance. โ
โMy daughter and I enjoyed staying here very much. This is a unique, well maintained, historic home. Local restaurants and food market are near by, within walking distance. Communication was very easy with the owner.โ
โThis was a nice space but could do with a bit more attention and better appliances and furniture. Nothing that canโt be improved. It was in a very nice neighborhood and cafes and restaurants were easily accessible by foot. โ
โIt was a very satisfying hotel. I highly recommend it to others. In particular, there are two king beds in the room and the bedding is very good. Breakfast is delicious, the staff is kind, and homemade bread is served. The hotel is quiet and there are many shopping centers and restaurants right in front of the hotel, making it a very good place for travel. The room without a microwave oven in the room was able to use the microwave oven in the lobby on the first floor. I stayed very comfortable...
"pros:
- If coming from the airport, taking the link train and getting off at Symphony station is very close to the hotel.
- Located in downtown, so itโs convenient for both going to the convention center and sightseeing.
- Relatively affordable price.
cons:
- The slope on Seneca Street is quite steep. It was really tough pulling a suitcase from Symphony hall station to the hotel.
- If booking through a third party (e.g., Hotels.com), they hold a $200 INCIDENTAL charge. This is a policy, but there was no prior notice about this. -> Fortunately, it was refunded immediately after checkout.
- The Wi-Fi speed in the room was surprisingly slow. It was noticeably slower compared to other places like cafes or the convention center.
- The staff was unfriendly, especially the woman at the front desk in the afternoon. I asked if I could change rooms because the Wi-Fi speed was too slow for my work, and her response was, "Moving to a higher floor wonโt make the Wi-Fi faster." When did I ask to move to a higher floor? I donโt understand her attitude. To add, they didnโt change my room.
- In terms of room assignments, I noticed that the hotel tends to assign people of color to lower floors when using the elevator.
