"The hotel was just what we wanted, a hotel in a very small and cute town. Hotel is not luxurious, but it's very serviceable/comfortable. The picture of the water is misleading, as there is no river near the town."

Wie soll man es besser beschreiben, als Fremder gekommen als Freund gefahren. Wir hatten das Glück zwei Abende mit Hugues und Michael allein zu verbringen und haben viel über sie und das Haus erfahren. Die Beiden geben dem wundervollen Ambiente etwas ganz besonderes . "The split leveling of the building was brillant with use of light wood and windows. The house felt airy and very modern even though the outside is traditional. The use of the garden with many seating areas encourages you to sit and relax."
"Expedia and Les Castelles need to make the pool and spa usage very clear in the booking email. There was no mention of charging to use sauna or hot tub or when and if it could be used. "
"Medieval monastery converted to a beautiful hotel with loads of character and charm. Lovely grounds surrounding the hotel were ideal for afternoon picnics or reading under the shade of the massive pine trees. Great restaurant in-house with locally sourced menu. Every detail was perfect and the staff were brilliant. The surrounding Gorges du Tarn and Gorge de la Jonte were absolutely astounding. Great base for exploring the Cevennes.

"It was one night stay and it was true joy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. View from the room was Devine. Location is perfect, right is the city center. "
"Arrived on Sunday to find that no restaurant/chef available. We did not know this and could have been a problem had we not been able to get a curry delivered!
The bar too was a bit of an issue, however, this was made available to us and dining Al Fresco with a beautiful view was accomplished.
Very nice people and a stunning setting. We all had individual rooms/fires that were well prepared and provided the rest that was needed."

The restaurant serves good food with a decent price and a nice view of the river.
We would give a 5 stars if they provide a small refrigerator and a coffee maker in room."
"Hotel is beautiful, along the river and under the rocks. Room had a comfortable terrace with seating. Pool was warm, riverside chaises a dream. Bar and common areas have lovely decor. Ate 2 delicious. Well-priced dinners."
