"Staff was great and the hostel overall is really nice they were accommodating when it came to storing my insulin in the fridge and keeping my ice packs in the freezer. I will say some of the area seems a bit sketch (I saw a guy get jumped) and it’s a bit out of the way from the central part of the city"

"I stayed in a deluxe king room , and it felt very much like a hotel. It was clean, the facilities were clean. It’s right next to a beautiful park. Not very close to the city centre, but taking the tram was fairly easy & it’s close by. The only negatives : check in was at 2pm, and my room wasn’t ready until almost 6pm. Also, if there was daily housekeeping , it was not very apparent they were there. "

"The staff was very responsive and helpful. I'm handicapped and originally we were on the top floor, no elevator, but they were kind enough to move us the next day. They were also very informative about the area, how to return to the airport. All of Amsterdam is wonderful for moving around!"

"Wow this is easily the best hostel I've stayed in on my trip (one month+!). Staff were lovely, showers were brilliant, air con in the rooms!! and breakfast included. Also brilliant location, backs onto the cute canals and close to lots of restaurants and coffeeshops ;) "

"Clean rooms with tv, coffee maker and a nicemodern bathroom. Rooms are small but it didn't bother me. There is no AC or fans. Biggest problem is the lack of elevator and very narrow and steep stairs. Good value"

"I was so happy with our choice of this hotel. The rooms are so efficiently organized, with just the right amount of space. Everything is so intentional, clean and welcoming. I loved the folded over down comforter on our bed and the lovely, tasteful Dutch windmill mural on the wall (so many hotels have cheap bad artwork, sad but true). The breakfast is very good, simple, but very good and satisfying. All told, I would love to stay here again. It's a great value, and the staff are very friendly...

"Cheap hotel with train and metro stations 30 second walk away. Rooms are clearly just wiped down, sheets changed and hoovered but still very dusty with floor ‘seasoning’ still visible. Only one very flat pillow for each bed. Otherwise, convenient hotel if you’re not a princess requiring home comforts. "

"Warm and comfortable. Pizza machine in reception area very good idea. Very close to tram station for easy access to Amsterdam town. Breakfast ok but no toaster. No hot food available. No English tv channels."

"Great location and there’s a really big safe/lock box for each person under the bed - bring your own lock! Everything was super clean too. My only problem was how long the check in process took since there were only two people at the front desk and they worked very slowly"
