"Property needs some serious repairs. Its a great spot for a cheap couple of nights. But the room we stayed in required serious actual building code repairs to the bathroom ceiling."

"We had a one night stay at this motel. The room was very comfortable and warm. It was just a shame there was no kettle or tea and coffee in the room. A bit of a pain having to walk around to the shared kitchen every time you wanted a drink. There was ample free parking and the room was quiet. The motel was pretty much in the centre of town and very walkable to everywhere. "

"Parking is right out front. Some short hikes nearby but you probably need a car to get to longer hikes. Cute little bars/ dining areas one about a 25 min walk and the other right around the corner. Think this hostel is more popular in winter for skiing but room was great and kitchen and shared spaces were cute and homey."

"Good value for money. We had room with queen and a bunker for three of us. Also had a kitchenette within. Bathroom/Toilet was shared with one other room. Was very tidy, the best pillows n linen. Very centrally located. Would definitely stay again."

"NO LONGER A MOTEL...DO NOT BOOK HERE... EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION AND LONG TERM RENTALS. NOT SERVICING AS A MOTEL ANY LONGER, AS MY 2 YOUNG CHILDEN AND I FOUND OUT UPON "CHECK IN"... Had to rush to find other accommodation. "

"Tokaanu public hot pools just a short walk away, plus the Lodge has its own hot pools. Turangi a very short drive away with supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Conveniently placed to visit Tongariro National Park. The manager was very understanding when we cut short our stay due to poor weather and only charged us for the days we were there. The room was clean and well fitted out, if a little dated in style."
