"The Eliassen Rorbuer was absolutely amazing!! The staff was helpful before the trip answering all of my questions which I had a lot. The view was amazing. Make sure to try to get a cabin that looks out to the Mountain View. I recommend this to everyone. It is a quiet little site and has a great restaurant Gadus on site and a close walk to Anita’s which the fish soup was delicious! I want to go back already!!! Thank you so much!"

"Place badly needs new curtains. In my three week trip in Norway this place had the lightest room at night easily. Curtains are white which fills the room with light closer to summer solstice. It’s an older house so I wasn’t expecting things to be perfect but that should be a super easy thing to upgrade/replace"

"Great for our needs. No TV. Small beds. Safe. Small town. No lighting outside so careful entering when dark. This is most likely for viewing Northern lights. We used a flashlight. No staff or reception here. PROs: Beautiful location and views. Simple. On the water. Saw Northern Lights right outside the door. Easy check-in. (Cell service is strong across the islands, so no problem getting check-in email. Plus many places of business have free wifi.) CONs: Not many parking spaces compared to...

"The apartment is cute and clean, and the location is amazing walking distance from many attractions. Amazing view from The balcony. The management was kind and responsive to us ! I would only suggest some toilettes and / coffee - tea as a great touch. "

"For the price you pay we would expect a little bit more service and overall quality. The rooms are very simple and things in kitchen not working properly. The area is very remote and facilities poor compared to all the other places we stayed at around lofoten. "

"This property was close to downtown. My only real complaint is that I asked for the ability for each room to pay separately and this did not happen. Also the kitchen was a nice perk, but directions for appliances should have been written in English as well Norweigan. Quick response time when there was a problem with the heat- again directions would have been nice. Enjoyed the commons area on each floor. "

"Wonderful place from Monday to Thursday, on weekends it becomes a bit noisy because of the restaurant bar across the street. However, if you’re a deep sleeper then it’s the perfect place to be in the center of Tromsø."

"Hotel was fine but there were two problems: 1. There was only one person handling check-in and there was a long line (especially because one customer kept harassing the lone staff member). Add some staff! 2. The chimney in the main area is not working! There was smoke going everywhere and I can only assume all smoke detectors have been turned off."
