"Clean, quiet and comfortable. Not great value for money but it was a Saturday night. It was very convenient and easy to book which is not always the case in Japan. "

"It is pretty much what you would expect for the low price. The hotel is primarily geared towards long-term stays--the rooms are 1-bed studio apartments. The room/appliances are well-worn, and cleanliness is a bit hit-or-miss. Building construction is not great, so you can hear the cars going by on the road behind all night. There is a shopping center nearby with a few restaurant options, so that was convenient."

"This is an old merchant house that has been nicely remodeled as a hotel. It's smack in the middle of Tomonoura's historic renewal district. The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. This hotel requires some pre-planning: getting the shuttle bus from Fukuyama, making sure basic needs are met (no onsite staff, except at breakfast time). In my case, I was driven over to the hotel from the shuttle stop and given a thorough and friendly introduction to everything about the room,...

"After a slight mishap with some reservation mix-up at the reception, everything went very smoothly. The hotel is a typical Japanese business hotel offering as little comfort as possible, but as long as you're not expecting 5 star service, it is fine. Showers are in separate rooms. The neighborhood is fantastic and is really close to everything. The staff is incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to help you out."

"Incredible to find this kind of Inn on an almost deserted island. The view from my room was spectacular. I could see 12 islands changing colors as time goes by. The best part was the dinner consisting mainly of quite a few bite size appetizers that reminds me of mediterranean cuisines. The course concluded with octopus rice. The dessert was panna cotta. Everything was delicious. Thank you Kako_san. Will visit you again."

"埃などは落ちてないので清潔ではあるが、何せ建物や備品が古いままな為、カーテンや扉の紙の日焼けやシミがそのまま残ってしまっているのが残念。 昭和世代はまだ耐えられるが、それ以降の人達には厳しいかもしれません。お湯がなかなか出てこないのも大変。それだけ今の世の中が便利で楽になったという事を感じれます笑 部屋及び風呂からの眺めも窓を変えるだけでもかなり変わるはずですが、経営上なかなか難しいんでしょうね。 それでも旅館の方達は高齢ですが、親切で良い方ばかりです。"
