"I stayed alone at the villa in zanzibar in a lovely room. I had an excellent stay! The setting is magnificent and so peaceful. My room, spacious with a huge bathroom, overlooked the garden and the ocean. The sun sets in front of the room and the pool, which is remarkable. The common areas are large and spacious, so you can enjoy the place without disturbing each other. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is very attentive to special requests.I look forward to returning. "

Meinen Cocktail genoss ich am Pool und das köstliche Essen wurde von sehr netten Angestellten serviert. There is no bottled water in the rooms (you cannot drink the tap water). "This is an excellent escape from a stressful world. If you want to chill and read a book at the pool or take a walk along the beach, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for nightlife and excitement, you might want to try elsewhere. I would go back in a minute."

"I don’t think I can rave about this place enough. The staff there are eager to please and literally wait on you hand and food. The free breakfast had so many options you will not be hungry until dinner lol. The massages were so amazing I felt so relaxed afterwards. And the best part about the property is the views. The views from our ocean front room was breathtaking. That same view stretches across the whole front of the hotel. Sitting by the one of the pools and enjoying the ocean view as well...

"Very central location for Stone Town. Easy to walk to local attractions. Less easy to get back to but that is due to the many narrow streets rather and geography of the area and nothing to do with the hotel! The hotel is known by everyone so if you get lost someone will help you get back. It is noisy with building work going on nearby, calls to prayer, and the church bells ringing but we expected that to be the case and soon got used to it. "Looks nothing like the photos. Pool was dirty and the girl "running" the reception was so uninterested in anything and barely smiled once. Was empty most of my stay and not comfortable for a single female traveller. Breakfast was not good, was just fruit and an egg. I wasn't able to fully open the door of my room because there was an extra bed in there that was supposed to be removed, but was not. Ashtrays around the pool looked like they had not been emptied for a month."
