"I don’t want to encourage more people to know about this gem, but it is truly a special place. I can certainly understand why it is so expensive! We’re not really s’mores people, but they provide s’mores kits and there are a dozen, or more, fire pits around the property to make them. If you are a social person, this is great. We didn’t use the saunas, but we saw people going from the sauna then plunging into the designated “pool” in Lake Superior. The views are great from most places on the property. The Silos restaurant had great food, and they were so fast! So much more to talk about, but discover that on your own!"

"I booked a bright two bedroom suite on an upper floor with great views of the Lake and lakefront area. It was spacious, absolutely clean and the kitchen was well-furnished. I parked in the City parking facility two blocks away, paying $10 at the Hotel. Great value for often (for whatever reason?) Duluth."
