"The rooms we got were very small but they made the space work. Also, one of the few hotels in the area with connecting rooms so that is what we did. We booked two rooms and requested connecting rooms because we had small children. They accommodated our request and the connecting rooms gave us a larger space to work with. The breakfast spread was great. The hotel parking was limited but there was plenty of street parking in the vicinity. There was also a Kaufland supermarket and restaurants...

"Excellent location. Supermarket, tram station, train station, gas station everything is within 200m - 400m distanc. Property is squeaky clean. Good heating system. Limited but wonderful breakfast options (it can also be complimentary based on room reservation type). Hotel staff speak German and English(some speak French too). Had a wonderful stay."

"Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood."

"The good : The hotel is very close to local public transport both trains and buses. Also close to several restaurants and Coffee shops. The breakfast was good with a variety of options to get you ready to start the day. Size of the room was adequate and the bed comfortable with clean sheets. The bad : Mainly two things , 1. The parking area is only available for a very few cars but they advised us to use the train station free parking across the street. 2. We reported a foul odor coming from...

"Great stay. We travel by moto, could park outside front for easy access and safety. Perfect location in old town and beside both spas. Will be coming back! "

"Above average breakfast and friendly staff. Overall quiet Parking is a challenge, many areas in this non-smoking hotel have a strong smoking smell, overall dated. Flimsy shower curtain can transfer you bathroom into a swimming pool. In case you are wondering, no AC and open windows might provide a lot of information about your fellow hotel guests. To be fair, there was always some wellness program which I did not participate as well as special evening dinner events."

"Only stayed 2 nights, but had a very comfortable, quiet room. We had asked for a disabled adapted room, and that was what we got. Ground floor, with a very spacious, well designed bathroom with walk in shower. The only slight drawback was that the shower floor was a bit slippy when covered with soapy water, but this is common in many hotels and we always keep a rubber suction mat in the back of the car. "Beautiful traditional Black Forest hotel. We have been extremely well looked after by lovely staff. Who have gone out of their way to make our stay memorable. Really clean and comfortable. So good we’re staying another night. "
