“Very nice hotel. We checked in late and the staff seemed a bit unsure on the process, perhaps it wasn't his usual role, so it took a little longer but they were still very friendly. No air conditioning in rooms which we noticed as we were traveling during a heatwave, so our room was incredibly warm. The included breakfast was wonderful and the location is incredibly convenient for visiting the Blarney Castle. Not many food options in the area late at night so be warned! We had to eat Mcdonalds...

“My room was tiny, with poor ventilation, and there was no air conditioning. Despite extreme heat, the staff was unsympathetic and disinterested. Very poor customer service, overpriced, and not as advertised.”

“Caveat emptor! It’s been a while since i have even seen an actual double bed, let alone have to squeeze into one with my partner. Usually when a hotel advertises a double bed, they mean a queen, or even a king. We paid €240 ($400 CDN) for that dubious privilege. If you need to spread out a bit, as we do, it’s not acceptable. Way overpriced. That said, the host was hospitable, the included breakfast good and the location central.”

“There is a parking lot around the corner which is helpful in a really busy town.
The unit itself is a bit worn and tired but handles basic needs.
The shower is very unique and there were no instructions as to how to turn it on. The owner let us know once we reached him. The shower itself is poor. Very little pressure.
On a positive note, the owners are friendly and helpful. Great, great location!”
