"Very good option for a short stay. Close to the main attractions. The rooms are cozy and the amenities are very basic, I can’t recommend staying for long. They offer a great breakfast and the reception is very friendly."

"Quaint hotel in the center of town. The room definitely played into the history of the town, sticking to the exposed timbers and cozy feel. The bathroom however looked BRAND new, which was appreciated. "

"Historical hotel in a great location in the Altstadt. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has great regional offerings. Please note, some of the rooms only have a window to an indoor hallway and not the outdoors. I apparently unknowingly signed up for such a room. When I raised it with hotel staff, they quickly gave me a different room with windows to the outdoors. However, I was lucky they had such a room available as the hotel is very popular."

"I would stay at the Amtsstüble again. Unfortunately, there was a temporary traffic diversion outside the hotel which meant there much traffic noise in the room. The weather was also unusually hot so with no aircon or fan it was difficult to sleep. The breakfasts were excellent as was the food in the restaurant. The room was of a good size and clean and staff were most helpfil and friendly."

"This is the best hotel for the money that I have experienced in Heidelberg. The front-desk staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. The convenient Frankfurt Airport bus operated by Lufthansa stops at the Hilton, a 10-minute walk away. Rooms are bright and recently renovated. Access to Hauptstadt, Altstadt and local transportation center at Bismarckplatz are nearby."

"We stayed here on our last night in Germany. Chose it out of convenience to the airport. Very close to the airport. And kept in good shape. No AC so be wary if summer time. Breakfast was just ok. But all in all a good spot if you want to be near the airport but not pay airport prices. "

"The price, space, location and friendliness was a high rating. When I dropped off my car rental late at night, I wasn’t able to reach a taxi cab. I texted a family member at the hotel and the clerk called a taxi to pick me up at car rental and drop me off at hotel. That meant a lot! The bathroom could have been cleaner but willing to live with it for price, location, space and friendliness. We got two double beds (one was a couch but was ready for us). We just needed a place for the night, and...

"Great service and very clean. Breakfast is always very good. Great location if you are working in the area. One of the only hotels in the area with a gym inside."

"The hotel is really nice, we had a comfy large villa room on the ground floor which was really quiet. We were there two nights travelling through so didn’t get the opportunity to use self contact kitchen facility. Staff friendly and accommodating. We were surprised that the location was in more of a business district, so had to drive to restaturants, only one in walking distance. The restaurant was closed on the night we arrived."
