"An amazing place to stay! The view of the ocean with pico island is amazing! The owner and housekeeper were both super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They brought fresh eggs, fruits from their property, and home made jams every morning! It was nice to have the communal area to meet people (although not too many people in the off season.) For those curious, laundry service costs EUR 10. But they wash, dry, and fold your laundry. Much cheaper than a hotel."

"House is in quiet place, full of nature. I received a really big house, fine in the appearance, very clean and completely fournished. Comfort was at top and all was working perfectly. Also garden an swimming pool were very good. Host was really polite and full of attention, providing an appetizing breakfast. If obly also some vegetables had been added, no possibility of improvement woulf have left! Perhaps a car to reach is needed, but it is strongly recommended for a comfortably full immersion...

"Our hosts Fatima and George were the best hosts we have ever had in many VRBO experiences. There was a fresh baked cake, basket of cheese, basket of fruit, basket of bread/biscuits and a bottle of wine waiting on the dining room table when we arrived. The patio off of the house was a fantastic private setting for evening wine and cheese. The old basalt cottage was impeccable, it looked brand new as if we were the first to occupy!"

This hotel was about a 20 minute walk to the scuba diving shop and I thought it might be an issue, but honestly we loved the walk in the early mornings. "It is a famil, running guesthouse. There is a very nice view of the ocean and Mt. Pico. The stuff is exttemly friendly and always prepared to help you. They are very helpful with advice. They alsk offer transfer. I would definitely stay here again."
