"This is a very magical place. It sits on the sea, yet is nestled right into the jungle. Our room faced the jungle and we loved watching fire flies at night and listening to all of nature as it awoke each morning. The staff and grounds were fantastic. The food was delicious too. We enjoyed kayaking to a fun snorkeling spot, hiking the trails in the rear, watching the macaws fly around at the beach, yoga at 6am each morning and swimming in the ocean at sunset. It was perfect."

"We ended our first trip to Costa Rica, in Uvita, at Nature's Edge. We travelled the Pacific Coast, but it wasn't until we got to Uvita that we experienced the true jungle. Nature's Edge is tucked away about 2 miles up a steep road (you truly do need a 4x4 to access it, but we had a little AWD Suzuki, that we put in manual mode, and that did the trick just fine). The pool is beautiful and peaceful. Lots of wildlife are present, including a troop of Howler Monkeys that howl at 4 am and 4 pm everyday. There are lots of trails for people to explore. "We had a one room cottage with two beds for us and our eight year old. Yes, there are steps, but Abel and his team help with the bags and you don’t get the great ocean view without going up a bit! Lovely stay, thank you - room had a fridge, hot water, brilliant view and comfortable beds. Breakfast was lovely too. Thank you Abel! "
