"as i was interested in buying gold it was walking distance and the metro was very very near also the staff Jason at reception Asif in the Spicery restaurant and Aman in the cleaning were exceptional the hotel is very good location and close to spice souk gold souk and abras were very nice to sit in and cheap "

"Pros: You have amenities and good shops nearby. Really near the airport (terminal 3) This property seems to be like a 3 star hotel and not a 4 star as things are quite old and some parts are dirty. The staff are strict and doesn’t understand much English. For example we asked if they had a freezer and they sent us a fridge. They wouldn’t allow us to use their microwave so we had to throw away a lot of food. It was an okay stay and did the job but it’s not like other 4 star hotels e.g...

"Excellent, best place for family. Location is on the opposite of small park where you can enjoy the air because that is spring time and surrounds of high rise buildings. Simple breakfast, nice staff and comfortable room with sofa bed. Near metro station, chinese market, kfc, baskin and robbins and mcdonalds. Surely this will be our hotel again for the next time of staycation in Dubai."

"Good stuff: 4 minute walk to metro, 1 minute walk to convenience store, 6 minute walk to mall. Unheated pool (in January), comfortable large room with mini fridge. Maintenance responded quickly to broken water heater switch. Bad stuff: dull thumping noise from night club and noise in the street most of the night. Granted, it's a big city and a densely populated area. Impossible to take a shower without the floor getting wet but easily remedied with the bath mat. "

"The property is very communicative and takes action on anything you'd dislike. Their priority is the guest's happiness. Overall a very clean hotel with modern facilities. "

"Very old property. Super busy because of location and multiple night clubs inside the hotel. Elevator waiting time too long. Underground parking is a joke. Impossible to drive into the parking and every time someone has to inform the staff in the lobby so security opens the door for the parking. Having said that staff were lovely and kind. "

"We had a pleasant stay. It has almost everything we needed, well almost because there's not enough choice on television and we has a connecting room the other tv doesn't work, at the end of the day after all the walking around sight seeing sometimes you just wanna see what one tv but not much choices, but other than that we enjoyed our stay, they have a gym, pool, the location is perfect close to all the shops.would stay here again."

"I liked being in a part of town that is old and has some history. I also liked to be on the Dubai Creek and enjoyed thaking the small ferries to visit some sights. Very convenient to the metro as well. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. The cafeteria service off-hours was great and breakfast was very abundant and offered great variety of food."
