"Enjoyed a 2 night stay here. Check in staff friendly, as were the restaurant staff when we dined the first evening. The food was good, although we felt a little expensive for what you got. Nice spacious room on 4th floor. Wife was too hot at night as the air conditioning could only be turned down so far, but I was fine. Could have had complimentary use of pool and gym, but did not take advantage so cannot comment. In nice grounds, and located almost directly on sea front."

"The room we were first allocated was unfortunately next to a number of outside air con units. These were quite noisy and would have kept us awake. However, when I pointed this out to the reception team, we were quickly moved to a quiet room. I was impressed with the quiet, efficient way the staff handled this to ensure our stay was perfect. "The position of the hotel was really wonderful - so close to the seafront and walks. The Hotel was comfortable, and staff very friendly. The Bay restaurant was excellent - a good choice and very well cooked and presented. Extremely helpful and friendly waitress. We will definitely return and book a bigger room. "

"As always staff and service excellent, however we had poor WiFi reception in our room this time but there was renovation works being carried out on other floors which may have effected the signal.. Cooked breakfast is always tasty and well served! Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon :)"

"Beautiful hotel and grounds however we did feel some areas looked a bit tired. We stayed in a cottage in the grounds and room needed a repair and paint Spa was tired too and the time restrictions of 7-10 am, 5-9 pm were not ideal as you needed to fit in breakfast and dinner too. So no chance of a lay in on our break which was a shame Some of the staff were great! Tommy on reception and also a new member of staff in restaurant from Australia had great customer service.
