"Really enjoyed our stay here, went for a room with a sauna. The rooms are very fairly priced and have everything you need. Only thing that could be better is the bedding, foriegn guest arent as tough in the cold ;) Pillows could be abit comfier as well but overall we was very happy. Thankyou"

The breakfast / sauna and one of the restaurants is weirdly in another part of the hotel which require a walk and another elevator / stairs -but the rooms are spacious and staff at reception very helpful. No room service though, so beware of getting back late due to your work!"

"Clean and surprisingly spacious rooms; super friendly staff; delicious breakfast with gluten free options, and easy 2-4 hour street parking nearby. Good location - about a half mile walk to Olavinlinna, and restaurants/market right outside the hotel."

"Meillä hotellin valita oli pelkkä vahinko ilman tietoa hotallista etukäteen. Business konsepti on todellakin kohdallaan mutta tietoisuus hotellin olemassa olosta ja palveluista ontuu. Kehitettävää sen suhteen voisi viedä eteenpäin. Hotellilla on selkeästi mahdollisuus kehittyä vaikka mihin! Erityis kiitos hienosta savusauna kokemuksesta hienoineen poreammeineen ja terasseineen!"

"Beautiful location and surroundings. Our room was Superior with a great view. The spa area was a bit crowded considering Covid."

"The apartment was lovely. Perfect for a family of 4. The hotel information could be updated to provide clearer information about additional costs, like linens, transport from rail/airports, which train station is actually closest. A folder including I for on the area would be nice, too, for first time visitors to the area. Still, Markku provided information quickly when we emailed. "

"I was in Finland on business near Kuopio, and the hotels were full in that area. So, I opted to stay at Tahko Spa, about 40 minutes north. I was glad I did. My wife and I felt like part of the community. The apartment was immaculate and the staff was incredible. In all of my travels to 70 countries, the Finns are amongst the most warm and hospitable."

"Beautiful, remite, peaceful, lakeside property with full breakfast included. Comfortable beds, practical kitchen, and a private sauna within the hillside villa unit. Outdoor covered deck with a barbaque. Access to resort restaurant and services including the spa. Access to nature hikes from the front door. COVID guidelines for physical distancing and facemask wearing in place for shared areas within the resort. Only issue during our stay was temporarily poor internet service within the villa...
