"The rooms were functional, but the bathroom and toilet and main door locks all needed renovation. Location was excellent just a short 3min walk to the gondola. Food was above normal for a buffet style approach. Pizza was always amazing. They really pulled out all the stops for New Years eve food, with oysters and fillet steak. All inclusive bar options were very good, with the expected exclusions... Most bar staff were brilliant with just one grumpy guy, who we think was the main bar...

"Wir haben ein Appartement in einem Wellness-Hotel gebucht. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war aber leider alles geschlossen. Die Rezeption war lediglich von Mo-Fr jeweils von 8-10 Uhr besetzt. Der Wellness-Bereich befand sich in einem anderen Gebäudeteil der während unseres Aufenthaltes komplett geschlossen war. "We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). "Exceeded expectation massively! For the price the apartment was wonderful. We had 8 people staying in 3 bedrooms plus the sofa bed in the lounge and we were expecting it to feel cramped, but the rooms were spacious with separate lounge snd dining areas. Would 100% come back and recommend highly."
