"This is a great location and a good base if you want to stay in the Hamdeok area but also explore other parts of Jeju. The bus stop is 1 min from the hotel. The beach is right across from the hotel. There are lots of food options on the stretch, and convenience stores close by. The hotel has more Western style amenities (partition in shower, large towels). Rooms were clean. There are lots of tourists so the area is quite busy. Highly recommend the Utop"

"Great location overlooking the sea. Short walk to market, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good with a large variety of food both Korean and western. Only thing was the beds were very hard like sleeping on the floor but has been the same elsewhere in Korea. There was also no aircon as winter season, but when asked they resolved this for me. "

"Excellent hotel with everything that we needed. Staff were extremely helpful also. It’s a good area with a lot of good restaurants around the hotel. Very easy to travel to the hotspots of Jeju city either by foot, taxi or bus."

"Stayed for 3 nights, loved the room, pool, and quiet location! Was within walking distance of a few restaurants and neat coffee shops but had to drive to most places. Most of them took 10-15 min to drive to. Staff was extremely helpful and polite!"

"We stayed in the suite and it is very spacious. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel is Bigelow brand with lavender and peppermint scent which smells great. There is jacuzzi inside the room but we did not get the chance to use it. There are plenty of dining options that is walking distance from the hotel. I picked this hotel so I will be close to the airport and car rental return. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Hotel room was quite spacious, but level of cleanliness was just ok. Shower area could not contain the water and would keep spilling out. Location was good across Shilla Duty Free and walking distance to Lotte Duty Free as well. Coffee shop next door was also a good plus. "

"I really don't know why one has to pay to enter a swimming pool. For each visit to the pool, you are required to pay 20000 won. Even after you have paid for your stay. Shouldn't it come with the facilities? "

"Long story short - we stayed 3 nights and found bed bug bites on us after the second night (confirmed by prior experience as well as finding a molted skin on the mattress). We switched rooms (they gave us a room just 3 doors away from the original despite the situation) and we had more bites the next day. The location was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, minus the fact that there were bed bugs. That kind of ruined the trip since now we were paranoid about possibly bringing bed...

"Fabulous location one block off the main road in the center of town. Short walk to shops, restaurants, bus stops and a 5-minute walk to the central bus station. Less than 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again"
