In addition I found that there was a $15.00 charge per night for parking. Neither of these policies were clearly explained in the on line information about the hotel. Srge"

"We went down to Toowoomba for a family holiday and stayed at the highlander hotel the staff were lovely. They always had a smile always keen to help you if you needed it very friendly to talk too. The room was amazing very clean and tidy perfect size for a couple or a small family. The patio was private and out of view of the street which was nice. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here for a few nights "

"My family spent only one night at the motor inn because the kids played the tennis tournament over the weekend. It was such an enjoyable stay, very convenient location and close to everything. The family room was really comfortable, clean with nice beds and everybody had a great sleep. Our experience with the place was excellent, we are just sad we did not have time to try their restaurant. We will definitely stay in this place again. Thank you very much for a great stay. "

"Lovely clean modern rooms. Staff were very friendly. The only thing we didn’t like was no air con in the bedroom. The lounge area has one, but none in the bedroom, only a ceiling fan. We stayed mid April, so the weather was starting to cool down, but I don’t know if I would like to stay in the middle of Queensland summer. We stayed in 1 bedroom appartment"

"Step between bathroom and rest of room, quite dangerous. Impossible to fill kettle with tap water, doesnt fit under tap. No overhead lights over bed, only switch is out of reach of anyone in bed. Otherwise bed was very comfortable. "
