"Stayed for 3 nights, the hotel itself is impressive and modern, although the rooms don't quite live up to the appearance of the lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was very clean and comfortable! Had an issue getting into my room each night due to the room card being a bit temperamental (don't keep it anywhere near your phone or wallet, although i kept mine separate and it still wouldn't work) but that was a minor issue to what otherwise was a lovely and welcoming stay! "

"The stay was fine. Beds clean but a bit uncomfortable. Biggest problem was we were a group of 3 couples. Reservations had been made months in advance. When we checked in the reservation for one of the couples had been canceled accidentally by the hotel and they were completely booked. They were able to put 2 couples into a mini suite in which one of the couples had to sleep on a pull out sofa bed. They didn't even offer to comp the room. They charged the price of a single room instead of the...

"The property is very aged. Our room (junior suite), did not have upholstered armchairs as pictured online but rather very hard and small patio chairs. The shower is in the bathtub and the tub is dangerously high and narrow. No slip protection provided and it was very awkward to get out of the tub. The pressure on the showerhead was close to nothing when warm water was selected. On cold water the pressure was great, but taking a cold shower was not an option. Our counter around the sink was...

"Room average. Sauna ,breakfast,dinner great. Property is clean . Italian cook is very nice and cares a lot about the guest. Two wonderful waitresses from Thailand and Zambia were very nice and friendly. The guy at the reception in the evening during checkin was typical grumpy but spoke English. "Service is excellent, breakfast is superb, buffet is in a bit of cramped and put-of-the way space, but a great variety of options, nobody will leave without being ready for the day. Single room was small, but I didn‘t need much, did not come to sleep much. Even if you didn‘t want to go out, the owners also are vintners, so they have an excellent selection pf wines to enjoy on the walkway outside or in your room. "

"The hotel is a collection of very old buildings that have been developed into a luxury hotel In a really sympathetic manner. Our room was spotlessly clean & really comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous with a lovely bath and a truly excellent shower. The hotel has a smallish (but very enjoyable to swim in) indoor pool & a gym and wellness centre, though we didn’t have the chance to try these. There is an excellent outdoor tennis court & table tennis table and plenty of free onsite parking....
