Barranco do Demo Walkways 5 Stars Hotels

Nice property. Great rooms. Beautiful view, if you get a beach/water view room. We had reserved a non-water view. Asked for upgrade at check in. Got the upgrade but had to pay more money, thought that was a perk with Expedia VIP, but wasn't. Nice bar area with good views and decent food. The upscale restaurant was good, but pricy. No restaurants next to hotels for food options. 15 Min walk or very short drive is the local village was is very tourist oriented and has lots of restaurants.

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful manicured grounds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Only problem was a lack of local restaurants in easy walking distance, encouraging visitors to visit the resort restaurants which were mediocre and expensive.

this is the 5th time that we stayed at Vilalara...this says something. We come here for the fantastic Thalasso spa and its great staff (multi lingual and so friendly), the most beautiful settings, the most unique gardens, the six pools, the direct access to their wonderful beach and also the location (easy to to reach). This hotel is at Portimao's Rocha beach and has splendid ocean view and beautiful rock formation along the beach. Its breakfast buffet was excellent and there are so many dining options close by, so we ended up not using its restaurants for lunch and dinner. Overall, a very pleasant stay and great value for the money.

Went in off season which was perfect 70 degree weather and super quiet. Unbelievable for the low price !!! Great for a family

This property is right on the 7 hanging trails hike. Not a bad walk to downtown Carvoeiro. The staff are very helpful in recommendations for restaurants and activities. Would highly recommend.

An unparalleled experience for a European getwaway. We stayed three nights and had a lovely time. On the last evening we dined at Vista and opted for the eight course meal which was superb. We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful quiet hidden resort on top of the beautiful cliffs of the Algarve region in Portugal. We took the train from Lisbon to Tunes, where the resort arranged a taxi to pick us up. Its about a 20-30 minute drive to the resort. Wear your seat belt, taxi drivers do not drive slow. It's a 5 star hotel and it shows. It is large, has plenty of amenities and resources for the guests. A few restaurants and a bar (admittedly we didn't get to try any). The breakfast was good. The pool was nice and comforting on the hot days we had. The hotel room was very spacious. And the bathroom was larger than I'm used to. I had a great time. Highlights for me included: the view from the rooftop, friendly and accommodating staff, health workshops offered throughout the day, cozy rooms, and relaxing spa with familiar and new therapies. This place is perfect for a getaway to reflect, rejuvenate and relax. I would not come to this particular hotel if you are looking to party, dance, or drink a lot. 5 nights All perfect Place for outside grill for barbqe

Got a free upgrade to suite with terrace and private pool. Hotel is beautifully decorated, tasteful modern style with a great garden. Never feels crowded with lots of swimming-pools. It's an ideal location in front of the beach. Breakfast is included and it is very good. One of the best hotels in my life and i have seen a few. Highly recommended.
