"The Octant Vila Monte is a beautiful hotel set into the countryside about 4-5 miles from the beach. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed and peaceful as the hotel, its grounds and our room were presented beautifully. "Wow! What a truly amazing place to stay! Sure the resort is, in places, still being constructed but, unless you’re very picky, you really wouldn’t notice. And it’s such a lovely lovely place to visit - thoroughly recommended and we will be back! Gorgeous location and soooo quiet. We asked and the resort was 40% full but you’d never notice and we pretty much had the pool and sunloungers to ourselves each day. Spotlessly clean, although watch out, housekeeping comes real early, like 8:30 a.m....

"Overall the property is nice with an excellent breakfast but cleanliness and staff were disappointing and unfriendly. Check-in took a very long time, we had to sit for 20 min. before we got our key, hairs in the bathroom and one really big tuft of hair on the shower wall. Staff at breakfast were grumpy, tables were not cleaned and set to be seated for new guests so we sat down at a table with tableware and napkins and got a wave and bad reply from the waiter (apparently those tables were meant...
