“The room was very nice, comfortable beds, and the window opened out to trees. We had to leave the window open due to summer heat, and the morning birdsong was lovely. The only downside was the sound of the traffic, but it became like white noise in the background. The water from the shower was hard to contain but the bathroom was fully tiled so no harm done. Bathrobes and slippers were provided, a nice touch. Buffet breakfast was delicious!”

“We really loved this hotel - very stylish and individual with great little quirks and staff who really seemed to care. There was no kettle in the room but free access at all times to hot drinks in the restaurant/lounge area which is a great space to relax in and includes an outside terrace area. The shower was great (shower curtain was fine!) and the provided toiletries were excellent quality and included conditioner too. Free wine hours a couple of times a week were a nice touch.
