“Lovely property in a remote location with views all around. A small family staff manage to cover all the main jobs (check in, bar, cooking, restaurant service, breakfast etc), remaining calm throughout. Rooms are comfortable, warm and well supplied. Our meals in the restaurant were excellent. Nice lounge for drinks from the bar and evening games.”

“The hotel was clean, and the staff were lovely, friendly and clearly doing their best to maintain standards despite the significant challenges with the property’s ageing infrastructure.
Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel itself was disappointing. Creaking floors, cracks in the walls, peeling paint, tired and dated bedrooms, and a shower that barely functioned all contributed to an experience that fell well short of expectations.
