"Looking at the Adelaide Inn, I wanted to describe it more as a motel. When you get there you see signs describing it as a motor inn. The name really means nothing because out room was large, clean, had several amenities and was really as good as any "hotel" we've stayed at recently. Kudos to the staff!"

"This hotel is on a large property with a spacious courtyard. Our room had a small balcony which we enjoyed. Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals (and Otters!), the light house, and Moonstone beach are all short drives away. Parking is easy. We had an issue with the first room we were given, but the front desk quickly assigned us to another room. They ask to let them know if you are arriving late. The Big Sur restaurant next door makes a reliable breakfast with American and Mexican-American choices. San Simeon is a quiet place, especially when the 1 to Monterey is closed. However, it's easy to link a trip here with Paso Robles, Cambria, or Cayucos. "
