"I have stayed in Kefalos before so I know the area, Chrysoula Hotel & Apartments came up as a good deal as it was the last week before they close for the Winter. Location: It's a really nice place, great location just off the main road as you drive into Kefalos, supermarket over the road, also there's Agios Stefanos Beach with the lovely church on Kastri Island within a few minutes walk. Staff: Everyone was really friendly, Dimitri who runs most of it & Nicholas at the bar, all very nice people. Room: I think there's around 60 rooms spread around 6-7 blocks, my room was large with plenty of space, it slept 4, mini kitchen, fridge, lots of storage, balcony, everything was fine. Parking: You can park in the Hotel driveway leading up to reception, I had no trouble parking, probably gets a lot busier in the Summer though. Food: I only stayed for B&B which was fine, breakfast starts at 8-10am, and there's plenty to eat & drink, nice coffee too. Grounds: The grounds were lovely, main feature is the large swimming pool which is very good size, lots of fruit trees growing in the surrounding grounds, Orange trees & Pomegranate's, some cute kittens too, Pool bar is there if you want a drink, wi-fi was good too. All in all it was a great place as a base to explore the island a bit more, I would definitely go back again."

"Issue with room on arrival but was rectified the next day with reasonable compensation. Hotel very clean and tidy. Food was exceptional, drinks standards were average. Would easily stay here again"

"This was probably the best apartment we have ever stayed in. The hosts and staff were fantastic and really provide everything you need. The apartment was really unique in terms of design but had everything you needed. It was spotlesssly clean and we had toiletries, and dishwashing items provided. We had tea and coffee making essentials and they were replenished daily. We had shocking weather on our last day but the host very kindly let us have the room a little longer than the usual check out time. I loved the fact that there were no hidden extra and they weren’t trying to charge you for everything, they certainly go the extra mile to give you a relaxed stay. If I had to be critical I would say that the only problem we had was the inconsistency in temperature of the shower running hot then cold. The actual complex itself is beautifully designed. A local waitress asked where we were staying and when we told her she said “ah you’re in Mamma Mia land” and she was right! The pool and bar area was attractive day and night. All in all, I would highly recommend. The location is perfect, close to the beach, shops and restaurants."

"The all inclusive stops at 11pm, water is not provided in the room daily, mini bar is chargeable, no drawers in the room. Buffet food was at best tepid but generally cold. Speciality restaurants charged for drink. AI stopped at 11am on day of departure irrespective of when you arrive. To stay for lunch was €10 each, €20 if you stayed for dinner. A 5 star hotel is supposed to elevate your stay, not take the edge off your holiday. Big plus was the general staff were brilliant."

"When we arrived fridge,TV and air-conditioning didn't work, repair man arrived within 30 mins to fix all 3. Apartment was lovely,incredible views, wonderful staff, and lovely breakfast and pools."
