โNestled up on the way to Mt Minobu, it's close to Kuonji Temple and the Ropeway, which you can reach on foot (though there is a bit of an incline.)
The hosts were friendly and the room was exceptionally modern whilst set in a more traditional guesthouse building.
Meals were also a highlight as they were well balanced and delicious. โ
โPros:
โข The villa is very clean and spacious. The view from the windows is beautiful โ you can even see the snowy mountains.
โข The staff is kind and helpful.
Cons:
โข A smartphone is provided for communication with the staff, but we didnโt receive a response when we sent a question at night.
โข The latest check-in time is 10:00 PM, which is not very traveler-friendly. That said, the staff did agree to wait for us when we called to ask about checking in at 10:30 PM.โ
"The room is huge but very very old and dirty. Hopefully the hotel will keep clean more to meet at least the standard of the hotel criteria.
We checked in at night, so we are tired from the trip. It would be better if the staff would not throw the check in job to the trainee who knows nothing like his first day. Due to this, made us tired even more to wait for him to finished checking in job around 30mins. If the permanent staff wants the trainee to work please guide him how to work not let him gone error and dont know how to check in for the guests like that.
Also on the checked out day, i was surprised a lot when came back to the room at 9.20am after breakfast that my room was open widely. At that time my belongings and valuable things were spread in the room. I felt terrible with this hotel security and service a lot. And i will not come back here again. "
