"We enjoyed our stay at Edgecliff Motel. The room was big, the beds were comfortable and they gave us a continental breakfast every morning (a boxed breakfast of cereal, fruit, milk and a granola bar). It is close to buses and the train station - so its very convenient to get into Sydney CBD, but at a reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again. Also, there is an AMAZING fish takeaway (Eastpoint Seafood) on the left side of the train station, best we had in Australia and a super nice family run it. "

"Great check in, Dylan got us into our rooms early and gave excellent suggestions for dining and walking about. Rooms were adequate, not large but had everything we needed. Hotel lobby was perfect for coffee and pastries and hanging out. Great location! Absolutely perfect for restaurants shopping and pubs. Bus 333 to downtown or to Bondi Beach. Super simple. "

"Dirty, stinky, rude stuff. The gym was smelly and had no machines, just a couple of noisy treadmills and a few old dumbbells. Room was noisy and the view was terrible. Nothing to save here. Just stay away from this garbage. "

"Very clean and modern rooms. Great amenities. Great breakfast buffet included when you book on Expedia but NOT when you book through the hotel directly, which is good to know. Very quiet we had two enjoyable nights. The lighting in the rooms is also cool and there is a Bluetooth speaker system in each room. Highly recommend, this place is a great value for the money. There are also a lot of people hanging out in the lobby area - it’s a nice social hostel-like scene without the hostel grimy-ness!"

"During my stay I encountered several cleanliness issues including an un-vacuumed carpet, an uncleaned bathroom, a bug found on my toothbrush, and broken glass in the bathroom. The team were responsive when contacted and did arrange a partial clean the following day which improved the carpet and smell. The broken glass was also eventually removed after being raised a second time. However, at no point was any form of compensation offered or even a genuine acknowledgement of how uncomfortable the experience had been — which for the price point and standard expected, I think would have gone a long way. I'm sure this isn't reflective of every stay, but I left feeling like my concerns were managed rather than genuinely cared about, and wouldn't feel confident returning."
