3/5 - Okay
I wish we had a better view as our view consisted of an abandoned house with graffiti. I think if the hotel was spruced up with fresh paint and new furniture, it would be more presentable. I’m glad the staff was friendly and professional.

It was all good. Great staff, good breakfast and friendly staff.

They cleaned it everyday so we came back with fresh towels and the bed made. Staff was always friendly.

This is a hotel that was built in 1919. It is very old and has been beautifully updated and care for. I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful place near the downtown area of McAllen. The staff were all excellent and very helpful.

Explore the great outdoors at Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge, a lovely green space in Alamo. Visit the cathedral or attend a sporting event in this family-friendly area.

Ask about pets being close to your room, for me it’s important to be in a quiet environment to sleep well, and the barking did upset me. Room is spacious, clean, and breakfast service is delicious.
Maybe should have additional security or staff to ensure other guests maintain noise at lower levels.
Nice. Ok.
Great southern Texas town!
Alamo— Plain. Nothing to see or do.
