"The grounds were lovely. Pools well kept. Nice location away from the bustle of old town. Shuttle during the day into and out of old town is nice as the steps getting down and up get tiring. We honestly didn’t mind though. Great way to work off some tarts!
We stayed in the Cerro Mar Atlantico building. Our booking through Expedia said 4 twin beds and 2 pull outs. The units actually have 2 twin beds, 1 double and 1 pull out. The beds were so hard that my mom and sister actually bruised their hips over the course of the week. You could feel the springs through the mattress. The kitchen was clean and had cups, dishes and cutlery but that was it! No extras!! No coffee filters, dish scrub, dishes soap, dishwasher pucks etc. we had to buy absolutely everything. The daily cleaning was always interesting. I don’t think any actual cleaning happened and beds were not made. I think they just left fresh towels on the bed and took the dirty ones. Sometimes they would leave 1 towel and we would be short, and sometimes they would leave 2. In one of the bathrooms the motion lights turn off constantly which is dangerous when showering. In the other bathroom they wouldn’t go out for half the night. The bathroom door was ridiculously loud and would wake everyone with each bathroom visit. All this to say, the units themselves are dated and need some TLC and the daily service is really just fresh towels. We had a great time despite. It just wasn’t what we expected :)"
"The room was clean and well presented. Air conditioning worked great and the view over the bay was beautiful. Staff were all lovely and friendly, very helpful when needed. The breakfast was delicious and constantly refreshed rather than loads of food just sitting for hours. Great location for old town centre and overall a perfect spot for a break in the sun."

"Staff is very nice. Free parking available on the same street and good walking distance to restaurants, nearby shops and the beach. Wifi, shower, fridge, air conditioning and outlets work well. The rooftop pool is a really great amenity with chairs and umbrellas. Rooms are a bit dated and run down like most budget-friendly European beach town spots, but it doesn’t affect the overall stay. Pool and beach towels are not provided, and the room safe costs $1.50 per day."
"The location is perfect for people who like to party and stay up late. Lots of bars and restaurants just steps away, and just a 5 minute walk to the beach from the hotel
"
"Did not eat breakfast at the hotel but I found a breakfast spot about 2 minutes away. I did not have a beach. Everything was great the only issue was at night it gets loud because all the big bars are all around the hotel. They do give you ear plugs but it just if you're a light sleeper or not. Other than that I liked it and will be back. Pool, the location and cost is perfect."
"The location means you will get no sleep at all we asked to move room from first floor to third floor slight improvement but honestly unless you are going out all night partying don’t stay in this hotel. Also the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable. Only around 12 sunbeds for the whole hotel. Only good thing was the staff. "
"Wonderful staff, had a great massage in the spa. Front desk was super helpful with any requests. Staff in the breakfast area were accommodating and location was great to walk to Old Town."
