“This hotel is basic but new and very clean. The room was a good size with a nice view. It's also a unique experience to have a museum in the hotel building. It doesn't have an elevator which was no issue for us because we only had carry-ons. But something to keep in mind when booking.”

“Todo genial”

“Beau séjour.”

“Perfect location when leaving/entering Portugal. Central location with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and spacious clean rooms”

“All was good”

“The property was bright and clean and my room faced into a lovely park. Nice cozy balcony. Excellent location being near the Old Town area. I had a car , although no onsite parking. It was easy to find overnight parking. Ayomonte is a real hidden gem, unfortunate that I only had time for an overnight.”

“Sehr großes Resort, es gleicht einer Stadt. Sehr saubere und große Zimmer mit voller Ausstattung, sehr komfortable Parkmöglichkeiten in der Tiefgarage, sehr nettes Personal. Es war einfach perfekt!”

“Nicely decorated hotel. Staffs were really helpful. Rooms were super clean.”

“Uitstekende locatie, ruime hotelkamer, goed ontbijt. Alleen kleine ontbijt ruimte, waardoor heel druk en warm. Zwembad heeft maar beperkt aantal ligbedjes.”

“Very clean hotel with very helpful staff. No bar Pool very small Shame there are no other boarding options. Fortunately some great local restaurants within a few minutes walk. My room was on the 6th floor with a very big balcony, shame about the birds and their mess daily so not welcoming.”

“Hotel da década de 70, toda mobília já desgastada por 50 anos de uso Nada funcionava no quarto: Wi-Fi, frigobar e tv … Ainda bem que foi apenas 1 noite para dormir em trânsito”

“Suite rooms were excellent for families. Pool lovely but COLD. Area around the pool very slippery when wet. Food at breakfast and dinner in terrace restaurant was excellent. Despite the kids club being advertised as open year round, this was not the case. Direct access to lovely beach. Hotel location somewhat isolated. Gym could do with being better stocked. Overall, 7.5/10.”

“Rooms with high ceilings, friendly staff & good location.”

“The hotel was overall clean, staff was professional, easy walking distance to other amenities like pubs, restaurants supermarkets etc around the town, 10 minutes only down the lovely long white sandy beach, great place to relax, close to pop in to Spain, safe surroundings as well. The only thing was on the third floor I did see a big cockroach that I had to kill myself - but this as all been part of the Algarve. I would still strongly recommend the hotel.”

“Second time staying here. So ouu oh hell 💕”

“O quarto dizia ter varanda, mas na realidade não tinha e era bem pequeno, o colchão era um pouco duro mas a vista acaba por compensar! A piscina sobre o rio, Mértola e o seu castelo é top, fazia falta uma WC na área. A localização é ótima, com a praia fluvial Tapada Grande bem perto. O casal de funcionários são super simpáticos e prestáveis, mas têm muito trabalho a seu encargo...”
