Though somewhat tricky to drive to, there is a big parking lot, and it's only a 5 min walk down the hill to the old town and restaurants. “Excellent location for exploring the Gjirokastër bazaar — right in the heart of it all. Arriving close to midnight made parking a bit tricky to find at first, but once we explored the bazaar the next day we discovered a convenient parking deck nearby with shortcuts that made getting to and from the hotel with our bags easy. Our room had stunning views of the mountains, the castle, and the city below — an unforgettable setting. Highly recommend!”

“Clean, modern and nicely appointed room with great views. We appreciated the included parking spot- super helpful in this town. Loved the bedding and toiletries that were included. My only complaint is that the AC didn’t seem to work as efficiently as it should for a newly renovated room. Also the room darkening shades are amazing and keep it very dark. Would recommend!!”

The staff for really friendly - we stayed for lunch and it was so tasty. The breakfast is outstanding! We would definitely recommend this property!”

“This place is as beautiful as it is historical. It was built around the 13th century and has so much charm and character. It is family-owned and operated and they were all so kind and helpful. The rooms are updated with a/c (very welcome during the July heat) and a beautiful, renovated bathroom. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. They also offer a lovely breakfast included with the room. I can’t recommend this place enough. An absolute gem in the heart of Gjirokastër!”
